Passengers with their own laptops and VoIP hardware will be able to use this technology and browse the web through a new internet service in selected Flybe lounges.The carrier is to introduce internet facilities at six of its lounges in the UK, with nearly five million BT broadband customers having free access to the service in locations such as Gatwick, Edinburgh and Birmingham.Some O2 customers will also be able to use the service, while people already signed up to rival internet service providers will have the option of buying access vouchers in the lounges.Chris Bruce, general manager of BT Openzone, said: Business travellers want to be productive before their flights and holidaymakers are armed with wireless devices. With access in the UK, plus overseas hotspots, we're providing more Wi-Fi where travellers want it, allowing them to keep in touch on the move.
